In environments where Foreign Object Damage (FOD) is a risk, every detail matters. Flaking paint or wear can cause serious issues. Here’s how we replaced a Demag KBK steel system with an eepos aluminium crane system – the perfect solution for FOD-sensitive areas.
The challenge:
The existing Demag KBK cranes were traditionally painted yellow. Over time, the paint started to peel, which is unacceptable in a FOD zone. Even a small paint chip can cause costly damage.
Our solution:
We installed 8 eepos aluminium overhead cranes, each with a 250 kg capacity. Aluminium profiles are anodised, eliminating the risk of peeling paint.
