Yesterday we were able to place a crane for Demag & van den Berg<\/a> at a customer’s site in Ath. To do this, we placed a 55-ton mobile crane outside the building and let the hook lift the crane through a small opening in the roof. The free space under the rafter was so limited that we made a special lifting beam. Thanks to this, we were able to carry out the assembly safely. Today, the crane is in use by Remco de Jong<\/a>, C\u00e9dric Empain<\/a> & Pierre-Alexandre.<\/p>\n

The crane is a double girder in a special design. The Demag hoist is located between the two girders to build as high as possible. Because it moves a molten liquid mass, it is not only larger in size, but is also equipped with an extra brake on the drum, a weight reading system on the hand transmitter and an air-cooled central cabinet to keep the three frequency controllers always at the right temperature without disturbing the dust.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
